Business Meeting start and greeting:

○ All income and expenses are rectified and in balance

Old Business:
• WRMI visit was a success. We were warmly welcomed by the station personnel and impressed at the size and scale of the operation
• Jeff, wrmi GM provided the following update after hurricane Ian:
○ We had a lot of damage to the transmission lines. A lot of those poles that carry the transmission lines out to the antennas are leaning badly or down altogether, so it’s a slow job of repairing those. We only have one frequency on the air right now, and we will be gradually putting the others back on as the lines are repaired. We only have Pat and Donnie to do all of that, so it’s a slow process. They are working as hard as they can. But we’re making progress.

• SPARC fest us coming up on November 12th.
• Board meeting October 18th ahead of the VE session at DMI all our welcome.

New Business:
• Hurricane caused a power outage. We should investigate UPS etc.
• This is officer nomination month. No one was nominated and all officers have agreed to continue. The nominations were moved and accepted and the election will be next month.
• Next club contest is the ARRL SSB sweepstakes the weekend of November 19th.

Elmering Session
• A spirited session with lots of good questions and sharing of information was held.
