MINUTES OF SPARC MEETING – JULY 1, 2016
7:30pm, the meeting was called to order. Pledge of Allegiance and introductions were made and acknowledgment of guests. Secretary’s Report for June is posted on the club website, Bob – N2ESP read the Treasurer’s Report and the Membership Report. Two new Members, Udo – KF4KUL and Janice – K4IJK. VE Report was read by Donn – N4KII, Club Trustee Report given by Dave – KR4U, the club station is running well. Net Manager’s Report was read by Johnnie – W4TSP and was presented an award from the club for his appreciation for his service as Net Manager. Repeater Report was read by Ron – KP2N, all repeaters are functioning well. All reports were accepted by the membership.
Coy – KK4JMP gave highlights of Field Day. The contractor for the club’s new antenna tower may begin work July 7th. Membership asked if there was any interest in setting up the donated weather station. Break called at 7:45p.
8:00pm, the meeting was called to order. The program for the evening was Military Communications given by Retired USAF Colonel Craig Hook, KE4VPK. Meeting ended at 8:57pm
