SPARC Board Meeting, Saturday August 27, 2016
2:10pm meeting called to order by Club President, Bob – N2ESP with six other members in attendance.
Old Business:
No change on the new tower for the club station, everything is in place and still searching for a contractor. Discussed display options for this year’s St. Petersburg Science Festival being held October 22, 2016. Will ask membership for volunteers to operate a CW station to attract interest for the display.
New Business:
Bob – KA4YBY, has an amateur station for sale. The next board meeting will be held November 12th. The Nominating Committee will be selected at September’s club meeting for nominations of 2017 Club Officers. Discussed contacting Duke Energy to install a pole for Dipole antennas for the club station.
