MINUTES OF SPARC MEETING – AUGUST 7, 2015
7:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order. Pledge of Allegiance and introductions were made. A moment of silence for Silent Key Harry Keever – WD4EAL. Secretary’s Minutes for July were accepted. Treasurer’s Report was read by Tom – AI4QP and accepted by the membership . Johnny – W4TSP read the Net Manager’s Report, Dave – KR4U, gave the Club Trustee Report, the station is being cleaned up and organized and content is still needed for the club newsletter. Both reports were accepted by the membership. Ron – KP2N, gave the Repeater Report, repeaters are working well. Repeater Report was accepted by the membership. Two new members to the club, Bruce – WD9FMI and Brad – KM4LTG. VE Report was read by Donn – N4KII, no test takers for the month of July. The SPARC club tower, looking for an engineer to sign off.
New Business – Next SPARC Board Meeting will be held August 29, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. The St. Petersburg Science Festival will be held October 16-17, 2015, SPARC will have a table there and the $30 fee has been approved by the membership. TARC Fest will be held August 22nd. The Lakeland Ham Fest will be held November 7, 2015. Break was called at 7:56 p.m.
8:12 p.m. the meeting was called to order, Tom – NY41 gave a presentation on QSLing.
