Norm – KA1IJA – had a concoction of various monitoring capabilities in an enclosure he will soon have to enlarge – One major capability was aircraft monitoring – within a specified area – he plans to add echolink, APRS, and VoIP.
Bob – had a power distribution box which was still in progress – various outputs available to assorted gear.
Joe – W4CBJ – “back to basics” – had a transmitter test device (a light bulb!) – dummy load – and ZEPP antenna.
Charles – created a spreadsheet for calculating length / frequency when dealing with end-fed random length wire antennas. You plug in values (length / type of cable / frequency / etc.) – it gives you the rest of the information.
Pat Connelly – AA0O – demonstrated a home-made power/SWR meter.
The meeting adjourned at 8:53pm.
