Meeting called to order at 7:30PM. Pledge of Allegiance, introductions and Moment of Silence for those lost in Texas because of Hurricane Harvey. Secretary’s Minutes for August’s club and board meetings are posted on the club’s website and accepted by the membership. Treasurer’s Report was given by Bob – N2ESP. Club Trustee Report was given by Dave – KR4U, the station is running well. Two new members were accepted by membership, Michael – KA8VKO and Mark – KA4JVY. All reports were accepted by the membership.
Old business – The club’s sales of equipment at this year’s TARC Fest went well and the call was put out to the membership for CW Operators for the club’s booth in this year’s St. Petersburg Science Festival.
New business – Tom – NY4I, informed the members of the General Class workshop which started September 1. There will be a SK sale for James Osborne – KI4EN, further information is located on the club’s website. Membership was informed of the chemical and electronic drop off that will be held on September 9th at the All State Center in South St. Pete. Donn – N4KII volunteered for the Nominating Committee again for this year. Break called at 7:50PM.
