MINUTES OF SPARC MEETING – SEPTEMBER 1, 2016
7:30pm, the meeting was called to order. Pledge of Allegiance and recognition of guests and introductions were made. The Secretary’s Minutes from August’s club and board meetings are posted on the club’s website. The Treasurer’s Report was read by Tom – AI4QP, Net Manager’s Report read by Rick – KK4WTE, Dave – KR4U, read the Club Trustee Report, the club station is working well and content is needed for the club’s newsletter. Donn – N4KII read the VE Report, next testing date is September 16th. All reports were accepted by the membership.
Old Business – Tower installation is still on hold. The club will have a display setup at the St. Petersburg Science Festival, October 22nd. K4YBY has a complete Icom IC-735 station for sale for $600.
New Business – Next Executive Board meeting will be held November 12th at the SPARC clubhouse, all members are invited to attend. SPARC Fest 2016 will be held at Freedom Lake Park and help from the membership will be needed. Donn – N4KII, has been selected to chair this year’s Nominating Committee. Break called at 7:55pm.
8:10pm, meeting called to order. The program for the evening was How Things used to be, presented by Dave – KR4U. 8:57pm, the meeting was closed.
